| Circumstances: The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Washington have now released an image of what Madeleine may look like aged 6 years. She was 3 years old when she disappeared from her parent's apartment on the evening of 3rd May 2007 in the seaside resort of Praia da Luz in south-west Portugal. Madeleine was asleep in the room, while her parents dined nearby. On checking on her at approximately 10pm they discovered she was missing. Madeleine is described as a happy go lucky child with long blonde/sandy hair and green/hazel eyes. Her right eye is distinctive as the pupil runs into the blue-green iris.
